Why is there no King Cobra found in Sri lanka and yet found all over India and Southeast Asia?

Its not all over India. If you look at maps of distribution its only some small parts of India that have King Cobras and those small parts arent directly next to Sri Lanka so why should they be found in Sri Lanka?
