Non-bilateral animals can only be found in the ocean because they don’t have to deal with the force of gravity, which makes it easier for them to move in any direction. Terrestrial animals, however, need to have a symmetrical body plan to help them move efficiently and maintain balance against gravity. This is why non-bilateral animals are not commonly found on land.
