Why polar bears are considered the largest land carnivore, instead of walruses.

Polar bears are considered the largest land carnivore. But, walruses are land animals and are even bigger, and they eat mainly seafood. Not only they eat meat but they’re in the “carnivora” order along with bears, cats, canines, & other seals. So, why aren’t walruses or elephant seals considered the largest land carnivore?

because, like seals, they are sea going, and hunt mainly at sea, and thus are arbitrarily shunted to “sea carnivore”, to compete with sharks, orcas, and other marine hunters.
