Why puberty starts earlier nowadays?

I’ve seen a study which found that the age of puberty (especially female puberty) is dropping rapidly. In 1860 it started around 16.8 and in 2010 it was 10.8. Why is that? Is there any explanation?

You’re misinterpreting what I said. Selective breeding does allow things nature couldn’t bring together for various reasons. I’m referring to DNA. Selective breeding hinges on the two things being able to be bred in the first place. Gene manipulation skips that step. I’d call it “playing god” but I’m not a religious person. We have no way to account for how it affects things later on when we can’t see the effects it will have.
