One of my friends slept with a single-use accidentally and it was stuck to his eye the next morning. It looked really painful and the eye was bloodshot when he got it out.

It is unsanitary. Bacteria begins to grow in them and make them misshapen and blurry, which also reduces their effectiveness. You can do it, but it will suck and isn’t good for your eyes, getting worse with each extra day.

I wore single-use lenses for days on end in college and eventually scratched my cornea as a result! Do not recommend. Further the risk for infection/disease is heightened due to the unsanitary nature of the practice

Contacts restrict the ability of your eye to moisturize itself and get oxygen. Wearing them for too long repeatedly can cause permanent damage to the eye. Doing it once in awhile will probably just cause your eyes to hurt. Sleeping with your contacts in is generally not a good idea.

I once got put in the hospital and didn’t have my single-use contacts taken out for several days. When I did take them out and put in new ones they didn’t seem to be working at all. Everything was extremely blurry and I was basically blind for a while.
