Brightness and contrast difference between the world all around and the screen. Your eyes don’t notice it because they’re a lot better than cameras.
This is less noticeable with high quality (and density) displays.

The lenses along with the dynamic range of the cameras can also be the culprit. The haziness can come from blooming of the highlights because of filtration or coating of the lenses . Older lenses were very bloomy in highlights compare to modern ones, for film making, this is usually an artistic flaw that cinematographers appreciate.
