Why when we’re in the bed near to sleep we start to be more emotive?

Teetering on the verge of sleep puts us in a very suggestible state of mind called hypnagogia. I can’t describe it as well as the wikipedia entry:

> Hypnagogia may involve a “loosening of ego boundaries … openness, sensitivity, internalization-subjectification of the physical and mental environment (empathy) and diffuse-absorbed attention.”
