Why when you see someone throw up, why does it make want to throw up?

For me it’s that I can always IMMEDIATELY remember the smell/taste of bile even if it’s not anywhere near me. And that be nasty.
When people lived in tribes and communally shared food, it was evolutionarily of benefit for everyone to throw up if something was poisonous or made one person sick.
Its really disgusting, also if you smell bile it is so vile it makes you heave immediately, especially if you have a decent amount of food in your stomach.
Just speculating here, perhaps because of mirror neurons signaling that you might be exposed to the same poisoning food like your prehistoric buddy.
I’ve never had the urge to throw up while seeing or being around someone. didn’t realize some people instantly felt sick
