Would bullets go on forever in space, if there were no obstacles and things to pull it in?

Let’s say someone fired a bullet in space, and space had nothing flying in it whatsoever. Would the bullet go on forever?

Yes. And they wouldn’t lose any velocity, either. They’d be just as fast from the moment they’re fired to the moment they impact something or are otherwise acted upon.

Yes. That’s Newton’s first law – if the net forces on an object is 0, that object will retain its velocity (a body in motion stays in motion).
