I cut my foot one on a rock in the ocean and got an infection from a tropical sea based bacteria and spent like 4 days in like 37•c temp feeling like I was in an ice bath.

Sort of makes sense that salt water bacteria could infect us since the water in our blood is saline anyway. If you had an IV of fresh water you’d be in trouble
