It’s not about endurance it’s about heat. They don’t run out of air, they overheat and cant cool down.

Humans sweat to cool down, most animals have fur and can’t cook off quick. Wolves and dogs are one of the exceptions – wolves can run 120 miles in a day for a week straight. When it’s cold. Huskies as well, when it’s cold. But try taking a husky for a jog when it is 85f and sunny – and you will absolutely outrun them. Same dog in the snow will smoke you.
