[ELI5] motion perspective from a moving object and stationary perspective in a moving object.

Question

Explain to me like I’m 5. what’s the concept behind perspective in and from a moving object. Why do I appear stationary relative to the train and in motion towards objects outside of the train, as long if I don’t move inside of the train?

You are standing in a rolling train. From your perspective, you’re not moving because you’re in the train, and it doesn’t move compared to you.

To a by stander, the train moves, and because you’re in it, you move too
