Eli5: What is AlphaFold3 in DNA ?

It’s a new version of a computational model for predicting the structure (3D shape) of particular pieces of DNA, RNA and proteins. The structure of these molecules is incredibly important for their function (especially for proteins) and the way they interact with each other. What proteins & other molecules can do and exactly how they do it is key knowledge that is necessary to understand all sorts of biological processes and intervene in them for medical benefit.
