[Hummingbirds](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummingbird#Aerodynamics_of_flight) whip their wings back and forth really fast to fly, while [other kinds of bird](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird_flight#Flight) don’t have to beat their wings constantly and use air currents to gain altitude and glide.
