Younger guys just relax their pelvic muscles and it comes a flowing. I imagine that’s how most women do it.
Older guys who have started developing an inflamed prostate, have to push a bit to get going sometimes. Especially if your bowels are somewhat full also, as they will press against the prostate and cause the flow to be less.
