How do mothers carrying more than three babies survive?

125 viewsBiologyOther

From what I know the baby takes much of the nutrients such as calcium from the mother, so how do mothers that have 5, 6 or, even eight babies (at once) not die? Even with appropriate healthcare I saw a diagram of what a single baby does to a woman’s guts and it’s all shifted— my mother could barely breathe carrying me.

Women are not having 5, 6, 7, 8 babies at once. Where have you got this idea from? There was that crazy octo mom lady but that wasn’t natural. Even twins is classed as high risk.
