Sympathetic nervous system is going to take blood from your brain and route it to your “fight or flight” muscles (to run away, provide more oxygenated blood to extremities, etc.). Your decisions will be spontaneous and using logic will become more difficult in these situations. Memory is also greatly effected when cortisol floods the system. Your recall of stressful events will be absolutely terrible when it comes to details.
