How does a video sped up by 50x have such a slow panning speed? Like a timelapse of an open field from sun up to down, but the camera slowly pans side to side.
Usually they have a camera on rail or a servo with a timer or computer-controlled movement. So the camera takes a picture once every hour, and also move the camera by 1 cm or rotates by 1 degree.
You can do the same thing by hand if you’re REALLY meticulous.
