How does music from a microphone pass to the computer?

Like, if you have to recorded and then you have it in a sound editor player.

Sound shakes a thing.
Thing shakes a magnet.
Magnet affects the electricity in a wire.
Wire leads to computer.
Computer writes down what the electricity did.

Later on, computer reads what the electricity did.
Sends the same electricity down a wire to a speaker.
Speaker has a magnet in it, electricity shakes the magnet.
Magnet is stuck to a thing.
Thing shakes like the original thing shook, making the same sound.
