Dopamine is converted into norepinephrine by the brain. They are two things that help your brain’s executive function. That is your ability to focus/concentrate one thing at a time, maintain your train of thought, feel motivated, and maintain your effort.

Having lower dopamine levels would lead to lower norepinephrine, and negatively affect the tasks that your brain needs them for. For example, it is common for people with adhd to have lower than normal dopamine levels, which is why the symptoms are basically being bad at all the things I listed above.
