If humans can have plastic electronics inserted to regulated their hearts, steel to replace bone, why can’t we simply have wigs surgically attached to us when balding?

It is physically possible to do something like that, but it’s better to have surgery in order to just get a hair transplant because a surgically attached wig is just way more cumbersome for no reason. Plus, with hair transplants you feel like you’re actually growing hair, whereas having to wear a wig, surgery or not, still has that sense of internal shame and annoyance, which is why most people don’t like balding in the first place. Put simply, it’s impractical.
