It’s not what you think.

Dark web only means whats not available to the public. You could host a http page on your computer, and it would be considered the “dark web”. A lot company host stuff on the net that is not available to search engine and such. Most, if not all of the “dark web” as nothing illegal in it and are just work documents.

Its only a term used by unknownledgable journalist to spike their articles.

The dark web you’re thinking of is mostly tor’s browser to illegal sites… which is not even 0.000001% of the internet.
