On every ceiling fan theres a switch that changes the direction of which way the blades spin. What is the difference between either direction? [Example](https://imgur.com/a/0BTBHxn)

Fan blades push air. The direction of the spin either pushes the air up or down. In the summer you want the air to be pushed down and in the winter you want the air pushed up. In your example su.mer would be going right winter would be going left.

The long explanation is that in the summer you want the air pushed down for a wind chill effect. And in the winter you want the air pushed up so the colder air in the middle of the room displaces the warmer air out and down via a wall.
