So I know the difference between Venom and Poison, and I’ve seen a video that shows how a snakes venom affects blood. But how does Poison affect people if it has to go through your digestive system first?

Poisons come in many forms, some are pure elements so are totally unimpaired by digestion, once in the body they can stop key processes taking place and shutting down those can kill the body.
