I’m trying to make a new site but I’ve just realised there are two versions. One made through a host and one not but apart from that I’m not seeing any real differences that can help me make a choice?
I had a premium package on the .com version but couldn’t use plugins or a lot of themes but I dont think this is any different on the .org site so…
Just want to make sure I’m not shooting myself in the foot or going through unnecessary trouble.
Please make this as much as possible please ha

One (.org) is for the WordPress software anybody can install on their website to use as a content management system or blog software, the other (.com) is the hosting company where you can pay to have your WordPress-running site be hosted on.
