And fat cells count as needing energy too. So if you weight 95kg and he was 80, you have more fat cells and thus a higher passive metabolic demand in keeping them alive.
The overweight and obese among us that claim their skinny friends have a fast and themselves slow don’t understand their situation is reversed.
