Why can animals consume raw meats by the pound but we get sick unless it’s cooked properly (some exceptions)?

Animals can get sick from eating raw meat. We just don’t care as much, because they’re off doing their own thing in the wild and we don’t notice it. Same as how they can get sick drinking unfiltered water. It’s just that we care way more about human lives, so even if the odds of getting sick are very very low, we don’t want any humans to suffer unnecessarily.
