It’s likely thunder. Cars with an alarm also have a shock(physical shock) sensor that detects things like someone hitting your car, sitting on it, etc, but in some cases it may be sensitive enough to be set off by a loud clap of thunder that shakes the area.

More than likely in this situation the power outage was probably cause by lightning. Then the thunder is what caused the car alarms to go off because of the shockwave.
