Typically sublingual absorption has a more rapid and complete effect, whereas with digestion, full absorption isn’t guaranteed due to variances in digestive duration. For me, for example, i process products VERY rapidly and don’t always absorb the full amount of the medication. Additionally, some medications may not be as digestion friendly, so it’s a more guaranteed and efficient result going the sublingual route.
