Getting angry means making your body ready for physical things, like fighting. Every time you use your muscles, it becomes anaerobic (out of oxygen). To keep your muscles always ready, your heart needs to work overtime to pump blood and oxygen around your body, so you don’t faint or feel fatigued while in anger-fight-mode.

Edit: out of oxygen*
