Isn’t it just about a release of that emotion?

When you release happiness, you might smile or laugh (and sometimes cry). Anger, you growl, grunt, scream, punch (and some people do cry in anger). Fear, you have an adrenal response/release, etc etc.

Everyone releases emotions differently.
