why is it hard to breathe when your face is in front of a fan

So in my house we have a big fan, and when I put my face in front of it it’s hard to inhale, why is that?

Air flows from areas with more pressure to areas with lower pressure. When there is a fan before your face, the area outside is much lower than normal. This means that you would have to breathe with more force to get air through your nostrils.
