Blowing air means bracing your torso (creating pression in the chest) to compress the air, and those muscles are already strong from standing, running and other activities.

Sucking air requires expanding your chest (creating a depression) and those muscles are comparatively smaller because they’re not used for much else…

Blowing basically means you have an area of high pressure that is attempting to equalize with the environment pressure.

Sucking basically means you have an area of low pressure that is attempting to equalize with the environment pressure.

Assume the environment pressure is 1 atmosphere. Assume negative pressures are impossible.

Sucking can only give you a differential of 1 atmosphere… I.e. Vacuum versus the environment.

Blowing has no limit since you can have pressures of 3, 5, 10 or even 110 atmospheres of pressure versus the environment.

It’s not.
P=F/S basically. The smaller the surface, the greater the pressure.

When we blow air out, we usually close the mouth more than when we breathe in. You can do the same breathing in, there is just no point in doing so (where we blow candles, try to eat something too hot, etc…)

Vacuum cleaners and leaf blowers are just different things, there is no correlation.
