I close my fridge door. Oops, forgot something, so I pull to open it. It now seems much harder to open than it did the first time. What’s going on here?
I think it’s to do with pressure or suction, the magnet on the door isn’t stronger suddenly. Or is my brain playing some trick where I only think it’s stronger? Or something else?

The fridge door can sometimes be difficult to open if you have just closed it. This is due to warm entering the fridge when the door was opened, this air then contracts as it cools down and this creates a vacuum. Once the pressure has equalised you should find the door easier to open.
