This probably is a very common thing sensation (or not), but does anyone get a weird tingling sensation in there legs or taste blood momentarily when not expecting to see injury? Eg. Skateboarding injury

This is actually a pretty interesting physiological reaction. This response is linked to the body’s fight-or-flight system, which is activated by your autonomic nervous system when you suddenly see something that could be a threat or require a rapid response, like an injury.

The tingling sensation could be due to a sudden increase in adrenaline. It boosts your body’s alertness and readiness to respond to potential danger. It also increases blood flow to your muscles, causing sensations like tingling or a rush of energy in your limbs, preparing you to either flee from danger or rush to help.

As for the metallic taste or sensation of blood, this can also be related to adrenaline or a rapid change in your body’s chemistry in response to stress. Adrenaline can cause a dry mouth or activate certain receptors, mimicking the taste of metal or blood, which is essentially your body reacting to a high-stress situation.

Not sure if this is the same thing, but I get something similar. Vasovagal syncope or reflex syncope is the term for it. Your blood pressure drops suddenly in reaction to seeing something like that. Some people faint from it.
