How come hand soap sometimes have these seeds in it? Does it actually help woth anything or just to feel it when rubbing as sort of a message?

It is not seeds but rather minerals. It is basically sand as in sandpaper. This will help scrub your hands when you rub them together so that you can get off even more of the dirt then with soap alone.
