Why does bleach make clothes orange? at first I thought it only goes orange with black clothes but now I saw vids with different colored clothing and they still go orange.

If the dye has a high iron content or the garment has rust stains, bleach oxidizes the iron and make the orange color.

Even Clorox admits this problem with bleach:
